Calsequestrin is one of the most abundant proteins in muscle sarcoplasmic reticulum and featuring high capacity but low affinity for Ca2 + binding. In mammals, calsequestrin encoded by two genes, CASQ1 and CASQ2, expressed almost exclusively in skeletal muscle and heart, respectively. Phylogenetic analysis showed that calsequestrin are ancient genes in metazoans, and that calsequestrin ancestral gene duplication occurred after the emergence lancelet.
CASQ2 gene variants associated with katekolaminergik polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT) in humans was positively correlated with a high degree of evolutionary conservation in all homologous calsequestrin. Mutations are distributed in diverse locations of proteins and functional diversity embed calsequestrin but very real in the same phenotype in humans.

Effect of Khat (Catha edulis Forsk) extract on rat testis maturation of pre-puberty and puberty: A morphological and biochemical studies
This study aimed to analyze the effect of plant extracts on the development of rat testis Khat. Thirty-two weaned male rats (4 weeks old) were divided into four groups of eight animals each. Responding to the increasing need for process control based monitoring of the wastewater treatment plant, a valid online respirometer shows great promise for real-time measurement of oxygen uptake rates (OUR) and biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) measurements as a surrogate of biodegradability of waste.
Here, we have developed a real-time system-aided respirometric photosensor is equipped with a bubble sensor for calculating an accurate measurement of oxygen consumption in a bottle of microbes. This system can measure the WE and the BOD in a bottle fitted with a tube containing a solution of NaOH to absorb carbon dioxide and is supplied with atmospheric oxygen continuously to the bottle, reliable supply of non-limiting dissolved oxygen (DO) for aerobic biodegradation even at high organic load.
These technical improvements allow an analysis tool profile victim sensitive and rapid real-time oxygen uptake as well as the level of BOD measurements with various measurable extended (0-420 mg O2 / L), allowing a significant reduction or elimination of the dilution step. Biochemical properties and thermal inactivation of polyphenol oxidase (PPO) of the three main lily cultivars grown in China, namely, Lilium lancifolium Thunb, Lilium brownie var. viridulum, and Lilium davidii var. unicolor cotton evaluated. The data showed that the PPO of three cultivars showed two optimum pH level of 4.0 and 6.5 to 7.0 and a temperature of 15 ° C and exhibited the highest affinity toward 4-methylcatechol. However, this enzyme showed no activity monophenolase.
Thiourea and L-cysteine is more effective than other inhibitors. The enzyme activity of crude extract of L. lancifolium Thunb PPO is higher than brownies L. var. viridulum and L. davidii var. unicolor cotton. For thermal inactivation, L. davidii var. unicolor cotton PPO showed the best thermal resistance at 65-75 ° C, and L. lancifolium Thunb showed stability at 45 ° C. The result is quite important to better understand the PPO of lily bulbs and provide guidance for juice processing enzyme inactivation and lily bulb.
